Our Recognition Day 2016

           With this one, I was so happy. My sisters and I will be coming to the Recognition Day. My youngest sister, Angel was Top 1. My other sister, Janel was Top 6. And I was also Top 1. Having these rewards is fun and fulfilling. We just made our parents proud. Angel had 8 medals in all. Janel got 1 medal but we are still proud of her because she made it to be in the top 10. I also got 8 medals in all. We will surely do our best in the next school year.

We Went To a Resort in Real Quezon

One time, someone invited us to come with them in the beach. We don't have any schedule that time so we decided to come with them. The beach is in Quezon and it is overnight swimming. I got dizzy while traveling.

When we got there, we excitedly swum in the sea. We had fun even if we only had a few time because we arrived there at 5 pm.

 The next day is the last day for us to swim and have fun. We had the whole morning to swim. When it is 9 am we already took a bath. After taking a bath, my sisters sang in a videoke. When we're done eating, we took some pictures.

We had a happy day. We had fun making a sand castle. Also, we had fun to swim.

I Made Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake for Mommy's Birthday

     Last Monday, it was my mother's birthday. I decided to bake a cookie cake because I remembered that my mom requested me to make some cookie cake. I searched some recipe. When I finished doing it, I let my family taste it and they told me it was good. Here is the recipe:

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CAKE
Ingredients:

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE CAKE

3/4 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate miniatures

Directions:
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9'' square pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl cream the butter and sugars together on medium speed until fluffy and light in color.
3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt. On low speed, slowly mix into the wet ingredients. Dough will be thick and look like it's not coming together but it will. Stir in chocolate chips.
4. Press dough into prepared pan and bake for 16-20 minutes or until he edges just start to turn brown. Let cookie cool completely in pan.

Why Am I Happy?

This Wednesday is our card distribution of the 3rd grading period. My dad just got my card when I was already having my class. I didn't know what top am I. Some of my teachers are telling me that I am top 1 so I got happy.

When I got home my mom and dad told me that I was top 1. I was so happy. It is my first time to be top 1 in the overall grade four. I checked out my card. After seeing it, I got happier because I saw it that I don't have a line of 8 grade.

I am top 1. My sister is top 5. 

I AM SO HAPPY AND I JUST CAN'T HIDE IT! 

Oh! What a happy day. I want to achieve it again this 4th grading. My parents are proud of me and I am also proud of myself.

Happy Christmas Party

Last December 21, 2014 it was our church's Christmas party, my family and relatives were there. We presented some dance number, song number, and we will be presenting our BS band.

We had some games and had fun playing. Even if it was just simple, we were happy.

My cousins and I presented the songs Every Move I Make and Joy To The World. We presented it nicely. It was a wonderful performance for me.

My brothers and I, with some other churchmates danced The First Noel. It was also a nice performance for me. We really did our best.

The children ministry danced Christmas Praises In The Air. It was easy to dance and we did it in beautiful way.

The women in our church also danced Feliz Navidad. My mom didn't really know the steps she just copied the one who is in front. Even if it is like that, the performance was still good.

The pastors also danced, their performance was funny. It was not just funny but it was also a happy performance.

I am supposed to have a solo performance but I requested to have duet with my mom. It was also good performance even there are some parts that we had a mistake. The song that we sang is O Holy Night.

Happy Moment

Last Saturday, I am supposed to make my own invention for my project. My mother told me that we may go to the Exploreum in Mall of Asia. We went there for me to have an idea for my project. The price is 250 per head.

We went there last Sunday, after our church. When we were already in the Exploreum, we were very happy and we learned something new. We walked and walked until we got there in the restaurant.

After going to Exploreum, we ate in Chowking and Pizza Hut. When we are done eating, we are supposed to come home but we went to Toby's Sports, in the fountain, beside the sea, in the park where the rides are also there. We also took pictures.

Go To Rainforest After Exam

We had an exam in 3 days and our time is shortened. Then we decided to go to the rainforest park. 

 We went to the kiddie playground, we spent our time in the kiddie playground and we had fun. While playing we were waiting for our brother who studies in PCSHS, beside the rainforest park.

We are with my cousins and aunt. At the same time I am also taking care of my little cousin. She is only 3 years old that time.

I Did Peanut Butter Cookies and Pastillas

Peanut Butter Cookies

Last May 4, it was my mother's birthday and I decided to bake peanut butter cookies for her. 

After church I made peanut butter cookies. I let my family taste it and it was good. I just searched a recipe in google.

Ingredients:

½ cup butter

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup sugar

½ cup brown sugar

1 egg

½ teaspoon vanilla

1 ¼ cups sifted flour

¾ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

Directions:

1.       Preheat oven to 375.

2.       Mix first six ingredients.

3.       Add the rest of the ingredients.

4.       Mix well.

5.       Roll into balls and press down with a fork dipped in sugar or flour

6.       Bake for 10-12 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet(I usually grease my cookie sheet anyway) Ovens vary so your baking time may be less. Just keep an eye on them.

Pastillas

I was thinking about how to make pastillas. I made pastillas and it's also good. I also just searched in google. 

Ingredients:

2 cups of powdered milk

1 can (14 oz.) of condensed milk

½ cup of sugar        

1 tablespoon of margarine

Directions:

1.       Pour the powdered and the condensed milk in a bowl. Just pour 2 cups of powdered milk and 1 can (14 oz.) of condensed milk into a bowl. This recipe should make about 80 candies.

2.       Mix powdered and condensed milk together. The mixture may be a little thick and hardtop mix together, so have patience and a thick and sturdy spoon.

3.       Add the margarine to the mixture. Add 1 tablespoon of margarine to the mixture; alternately, you can use real butter. This will help add an extra creamy flavor to the treat. Mix it in with the other ingredients.

4.       Shape your candy into circles or cylinder. Choose the shape you’d like for your pastillas; they can be circular or they can be more cylindrical, like Tootsie Rolls. Just use your hands to give them their desired shape; you can wear gloves if you want to place the shaped candies on a plate.

5.       Pour the sugar on the plate. Pour half a cup of sugar on a plate.

6.       Roll the pastillas into the sugar. Make sure that all part are covered.

7.       Wrap the pastillas in cellophane. You can cut the cellophane in advance to get the desired shape. Then place the pastillas in the cellophane and wrap the ends of it.

Basketball League 2014

One day, it is the Anniversary of our subdivision. We will have a parade before everything else start. We will do the parade with the boys that are going to play basketball.

While we are having the parade, the yellow team is deciding if who will be their muse. My brother and my cousin is in yellow team. Then they picked me as their muse, so I agreed because in yellow team my brother and my cousin is there.

My other brother is in green team. The green team are included in the championship.

Oh! I remember there is a PBA player, in team Air 21 and his name is Eliud Poligrates. He lives in our subdivision. My cousins and my brothers took a picture with Eliud Poligrates.

Ma'asalama Party

One night, our friends in Saudi Arabia was done in 4th year high school, so they are going to Philippines for them to study College.

We didn't know that it is also our ma'asalama party because we will be going back to the Philippines already. Daddy has no work anymore.


My sisters, brothers, my friends and I prepared a dance. We perform it that night.

We ate delicious food. Each member of our family had a gift from our church. My sisters, my brother and I had a watch, my father had a printer, my mother had a laptop, and my brother had a cellphone.

WE WENT HOME VERY HAPPY!

Ballet time

One day, my teacher attached something in our handbook that invited us if we want to join ballet or taekwondo.

Janel and I picked ballet but we need to pay 800 pesos per 4 sessions.

Every Thursday from 5:10pm to 6:10pm. The uniform is 1200 pesos, a set of uniform.

We missed 1 session but I am still happy because my parents allowed us to join the ballet class.

One morning, the principal had a note to all the parents to get the card in school.

First, I saw the rank of my sister. She is rank 8 in the overall grade 2.

Second, I saw the card of my brother. He is rank 6 in the overall grade 6.

Third, our teacher distributed the cards. My mom doesn't want to give me the card because she said it is a surprise if I have a rank. She saw I was rank 4, I was very happy because it is my first time to be included in the top 10 of our grade level.

Superbook in Robinsons Place Manila

One Saturday, we were watching Superbook and during the commercial we saw the program in Robinsons Place Manila at 2pm.

My mom said we can go there after our church. When we arrived, the program is already starting.

The program has games, videos, picture taking with Gizmo, and some prizes.

You can buy CDs, bag tag, bracelet. We bought five bracelets, 50 pesos per piece.

We went home already 12:00mn.

We can't sleep because of the happy experience we had in Robinsons Place Manila. Before we went to the program, we ate lunch because we are not yet eating lunch that time.

PAMANA

One afternoon my mom was working in internet and suddenly my aunt texted my mom if we want to watch PAMANA.

I told mom yes but we need to pay 500 pesos each person. Tita Glen texted mom that we don't need to pay 500 pesos.

There are two artists but I only know one artist which is in epol apple named Tito Louise.

One day, my brother has a basketball training in Rizal High School.

My father used the motorcycle of my uncle to bring my brother to his basketball training. When my brother was going off the motorcycle, accidentally he was burned by motorcycle combustion pipe (tambutso).

One night, me and my family were at home and my mom is going somewhere with her friend.

My Time To Sing To Jesus

Every wednesday I practice how to sing with my friends. One morning, I sang 'Panalangin ko sa Diyos'.

I perform a lot like dancing and singing because it is a concert in our church.

Me and my friends were keep on changing our clothes before we go to the stage.

I am afraid when we go to the stage, I am thinking that maybe I will make a mistake in singing and dancing.
